Band Bio:

5 Pints Low is a five piece cover band hailing from Southern New Jersey. With a lineup featuring Cathy on vocals, Greg on lead guitar, Brian on rhythm guitar, Den on bass, and Tom on vocals and drums, the band brings a dynamic energy to every performance.

Drawing inspiration from legendary acts spanning the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s, and beyond, 5 Pints Low puts our own spin on rock and roll. What sets us apart is our eclectic setlist—avoiding the usual local band covers, we dig deeper into the classics and hidden gems that deserve to be heard.

We've kicked off this year with two shows at the White Horse Winery, one celebrating the arrival of Spring and another a Rose' Festival. We also have scheduled for the second year in a row The Egg Harbor Township Concert in the Park Series and a new show for the City of Absecon's Concert Series. With each show, Five Pints Low brings an infectious energy and a genuine love for the music, creating an experience that keeps audiences coming back for more.

Vocals/Cathy:

Cathy joined “4 Pints Low” in August of 2024, making it “5 PINTS LOW”! The past 2 years have been a blast! Prior to that, in North Jersey, Cathy sang in a Classic Rock Band, POWERVILLE, with her sister from 2015 to 2022, playing in local bars and for charities. Earlier, Cathy and her sister were part of the band NOBODY'S FOOL. An original & cover band from 1978 - 1988, where she played acoustic guitar, bass, lead & back up vocals. Enjoyed lots of studio time recording their album. They were featured on the Uncle Floyed TV Show performing their single and Vince Scelsa's Breakout of Rock & Roll on WNEW radio. But really, Cathy says she's been singing since she was a kid, holding a hair brush & rocking out in the mirror.

Lead Guitar : Greg

Rhythm Guitar : Brian

Brian joined 5 Pints Low in the spring of 2026, bringing decades of playing experience and a lifelong love of rock to the band.

Growing up in the Bronx, Brian was surrounded by all kinds of music. He picked up the guitar at age 10 and developed his chops in high school, playing in bands at shows and school dances. By 15, he was playing regularly in local bars and clubs, eventually leading to recording studio work. Brian continued playing throughout college and beyond, performing in New York with bands covering rock, jazz, bluegrass, and folk. After moving to South Jersey, music took a back seat during his 45-year career as a paramedic and ER nurse. But the guitar never left him.

Now he’s back—playing the classic rock he’s loved all his life with musicians who share his passion, energy, and enthusiasm for playing.

Electric Bass : Den

Drums/Vocals : Tom
